Shown below is a series of photos taken with different focal-length lenses. I took them over a period of time (as I was able to borrow the appropriate lenses), so the weather was different and the exposures different. I did set up the tripod in exactly the same place each time, and attempted to have the camera pointing in exactly the same direction, but there are obviously going to be minor variations.
All the photos are almost full frame (perhaps 2% was clipped off each edge). The f/8 and f/16 lenses are fisheyes; the others are all standard lenses. The f/1200 is really an f/600 with a doubler.
The images are arranged in order, with the following focal lengths: 8mm, 16mm, 20mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm, 105mm, 135mm, 200mm, 300mm, 600mm, 1200mm. If you hold your cursor over an image, the name of the image is also displayed, which is the focal length.
