Best Brazil Bird Photos

This is a preliminary web page with a few of the better photos I took of birds on a trip to Brazil (and a couple of days in Argentina) in 2005. We visited the Pantanal, Chapada dos Guimarães, Iguaçu Falls, and a lodge called Serra dos Tucanos about 100 kilometers from Rio de Janiero. The photos of the Red-Breasted Toucan and the Toco Toucan were taken in an avian zoo near Iguaçu Falls on the Brazilian side; all the others were taken of wild birds.
